Our family medicine clinic is part of the North York Family Health Team and is affiliated with the University of Toronto.  We are all passionate about teaching future health professionals and incorporate this regularly in our practice.  We each have faculty appointments through the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.  We strongly believe that teaching future physicians benefits our learners, ourselves and our patients.

You may be asked to see a student as part of your visit.  You can choose not to see a trainee on a particular visit, including if the visit is of a sensitive nature, but we would also encourage you to include a trainee in some visits.  Please be assured that your own family physician is still actively involved in each visit including direct supervision, reviewing of clinical notes, and follow-up of investigations.
